Mulligan for Sean Spicer

Okay, so Sean Spicer stepped in it trying to compare Bashar Assad to Adolf Hitler.  He did NOT deny the Holocaust.  Like Josh Earnest and whatever weasel-faced nerd he replaced didn’t let loose with more than their fair share of utter baloney (offensive and otherwise) while they were Whatshisname’s press secretaries.

So it’s an outrage when Sean gets hyperbolic and goes overboard but when the snowflake brigade chants about how Republicans are Nazis and President Trump is “literally Hitler” for months upon months that’s all just fine.

It’s called Godwin’s Law for a reason, people.  You’re probably better off leaving Hitler out of your arguments, okay?  As John Hayward put it yesterday:

“Rules for using Hitler in political commentary: 1. Don’t.”
