It’s been reported in several places that various leftist jerks are not satisfied with making people rename “Christmas parties” to the less-overtly-religious “holiday parties,” but now want to call these celebrations “end-of-semester” celebrations or “end of (fiscal) year” parties or whatever gets even further away from, you know, Christmas. At the University of Tennessee, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (hey Tennessee–you pay for this stuff?) warned students and faculty alike to “give the gift of inclusion this year” and to be mindful that their “holiday parties” weren’t “just Christmas parties in disguise.”
Um…I thought that was the whole point, was to “disguise” Christmas parties because the lefties couldn’t stand to look at them. Not like Christmas has EVER been about excluding anyone in the first place.
Anyway, to their immense credit, some students at UT decided they had had quite enough of this nonsense and made their stand against it, despite the efforts of some local clergy to dismiss their concerns. This being one of the times when a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll just leave this here:
